Brenntag names Holland Chief Operating Officer


Brenntag, the global leader in chemical distribution, announced that Steve Holland has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer Brenntag Group effective October 1, 2009. In his new position Steve Holland will be responsible for directing Brenntag’s day-to-day chemical distribution business worldwide. In addition to his expanded geographical responsibilities, Holland will maintain his current role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brenntag Europe.

 

Steve Holland, previously Managing Director of Albion Chemicals Ltd. (UK) which Brenntag successfully acquired in 2006, had been named President and CEO Brenntag Europe in July 2007. Holland, a graduate in polymer chemistry, has a distinguished career of 27 years in chemical manufacturing and distribution. Stephen R.
