Brenntag Solution for our Customers and Suppliers
Under REACH distributors have the obligation to pass on information up and down the supply chain. As a distributor Brenntag is in-between Manufacturers (its suppliers) and Downstream Users (its customers) and therefore, in order to comply with REACH obligations, has to communicate in both directions. The challenge is to process and forward use information from our suppliers to our customers and to process confirmation from our customers. Finally the information from our customers about additional uses has to be aggregated and provided to our suppliers. All communication must be recorded in our system for possible external investigations. Brenntag is committed to meet these requirements related to the Supply Chain Communication and to this purpose has developed a tool dedicated to manage this important information flow.
